"Best Children's Entertainer"

Neopolitan Family Magazine

Perfect for children ages 3 to 8, Professor Patches will make your next event a day to remember with magic that occurs in their hands! There is always a lot of audience participation, laughter and giveaways. It's colorful magic that is age appropriate, though adults will laugh and be amazed as well.

The Show
This is a 40 minute comedy magic show. Everyone is involved in the show, not only as a group, but with quite a few children up to help. It's spectacular because it looks like the children are doing the magic - and they will garner all the applause! And each child that comes up to help gets an Official Professor Patches Magician's Assistant Certificate to take home with them, of course suitable for framing.

The show opens with a warm up that gets all the kids involved and laughing and then Professor Patches starts blowing bubbles. He plucks one from thin air, and tosses it on the floor!

The gasps will be audible as Professor Patches demonstrates his “Cloak of Invisibility” made famous by the Harry Potter series. Throughout the show, objects vanish and reappear, right before their eyes, and many times, right in their hands!

Rocky the Raccoon, a big, fluffy puppet, makes his entrance to perform the famous Zig-Zag illusion and becomes a highlight of the show. And children will always line up afterwards to pet this cute new friend.

The last illusion for the show will leave children and adults breathless as they witness the vanishing of a large, full bottle of ketchup, with the help of one of the children.

These are just a few of the highlights, but the magic and laughter is nonstop. The children and the adults will be talking about the event long after the show.

For Birthdays
The Birthday Child is the real star of the show. The magic words for the day would be ‘Happy Birthday (their name)’ and they learn the magic words from lights that fly through the air. They'll never forget seeing their name lit up and floating in the air! Then there's a magical banner that unfurls into a special birthday message for them.

At another point in the show, Professor Patches shows a picture of a birthday party, except there are no balloons, no presents, and the cake has no candles! The Birthday Child writes their name on the cake and adds candles and decorations, The other children say the magic words. When the picture is turned around, balloons, presents and decorations have appeared in full color in addition to the Birthday Child's artwork! And the Birthday Child gets to keep that picture as a souvenir.

Two Birthday Packages
The basic is the magic show as described above. Along with this package the Birthday Child is presented with their very own gift bag that has magic and other goodies in it suitable for someone their age.

The deluxe is the 40 minute magic show, but for the last illusion, the Birthday Child is presented with a gigantic magic wand that's about 3 inches in diameter. This wand is personalized with their name on it, something they'll want to keep forever. They use the wand to create the magic for the last illusion and, when the illusion is complete, they find that the wand is stuffed with magic tricks, magic booklets, toys and all sorts of goodies for them to keep. And 10 goodie bags are included for the other kids as well. These are full of magic tricks, magic booklets, toys, Fortune Telling Fish, Chinese Finger Tortures, giant dollars with tricks on them, magical bookmark, games and a lot of other goodies. They really walk out with a ton of stuff! Additional goodie bags are available at a nominal cost.

Whatever the choice of packages or the occasion, Professor Patches can individually tailor the show to meet your needs. He performs over 30 shows a month and the calendar fills up quickly, especially weekends. So please, to avoid disappointment, call and book early.
